Maximova For Push It & Disfunkshion Magazine By Tomaas

So when I orignally posted this it was beacuse I loved the hair pieces and thougght they were stunning, but then they styling in the last shot took me away, it’s so crazy, not working but is working, I dunno I just love it. I think the tanned yellow against the leather really sets off the outfit then everytnhing else just falls in place. These shots are from a shoot called Nomad’s Land by Tomaas and has been published in both Push It & Disfunkshion Magazine

Bianca Balti For Vogue Paris December/January Issue

This is a shot from Vogue’s Paris December/January issue featuring Bianca Balti, simply I just loved the shot so I had to post it, it reminds me of Barbie meets the Queen in some type of Disney film, if you have seen Life-Size with Tyra Banks you will understand; but yeah I loves it.

This shoot is for 10 Magazine’s winter issue and features Kinga Rajzak, although I didn’t post this for photographic quality, simply I love the styling in the first shot reminds me of a high fashion Mortal Kombat character, and the couture pieces in the rest of the shots from shoes to pants are just fab so I had to.

Vogue Italia’s Notorious TwitPic Inspired Cover By Steven Meisel

Featuring models Gisele Bundchen, Christy Turlington, Lara Stone and Natalia Vodianova this December vogue cover is dedicated to the ever so popular “Twitter” microblogging network. Personally, I think the cover is different and obviously it has been created to make a stir among the industry, but there is something about it I actually like, usually I like everything over the top and edgy, but the simplicity of this brings the “Less is more” slogan to mind which generally I think they were trying to put across. However lets not deny, Twitter is one of the biggest things on the web and mobiles right now and designers are using it more and more to get themselves out there, so it does make sense them doing a type of tribute cover to it. Also it’s not the first time they have done something like this either. In 2007, they devoted a cover to the rise of YouTube and the Webcam obsession, so I guess we could call this a round 2.

*EDIT*: I dont know how this work’s but the cover is by Steven Meisel who is a world famous photographer but yet I am told the models took the pictures themselves. You work it out lol.

Dazzling Noir By Satoshi Saikusa For Numéro Tokyo #33 Jan/Feb 2010

This noir shoot features the stunning Emily DiDonato for Numéro Tokyo’s #33 issue. I think the shoot look’s hot, the whole black on black just does it for me along with the high contrasting and the b*tchy esq clothes chosen, I’m sure the shots look even better in the magazine and is just provides another great shoot to Emily’s already spectacular portfolio.

Daria Werbowy Covers Vogue Nippon January Issue

Daria Werbowy covers Vogue Nippon’s January issue and looks great doing it. The cover seems to be receiving negative feedback over some of the fashion forums but I think the styling is Flawless, and LOVE IT!. Those satin pants along with the matching boots are singing to me, oh how I want them in my wardrobe; they have this essence which reminds me of a high fashion Aladdin vs Puss in Boots. Hauteness!!

Beyonce Knowles Cosmopolitan Romania 1

Superstar Beyoncé covers Cosmopolitan magazine Romania for their December issue. Personally I’m really liking the cover, Beyoncé looks really sweet and happy here while the dress fits her body perfectly, the funny thing is shes not fashioned out to the max and I still like it. Thumbs up B.

Britney Spears Covers ELLE US January Issue

This is the Britney Spears cover of Elle’s January edition looking it though, however much I love Britney I’m very disappointed, it doesn’t ring high quality to me at all and looks like something you would see on “Ok!” or “People” magazine. Also I know Lady Gaga is sharing this cover with Brit, however she has been in the fashion loop for quite a while now and Britney hasnt so it’s a bit farfetched to me as to why they have put Britney on the cover at all.

Chris Brown Covers 1st Edition of Newly Relaunched VIBE

VIBE Chris Brown relaunch issue Chris Brown Covers VIBE

This is the long awaited cover for VIBE’s big relaunch after they folded earlier this year. However I’m not really feeling it to be honest, I dont know what it is possibly the retouching but I feel like Chris’s face doesnt look entirely relaxed, this could be because he supposedly asking the question “R U Still Down” but compared to the preview which I showed you guys in early november I think that would have been a much better shot. Saying that it’s not a bad cover, just I’ve seen better from him and I have no doubt that he took better shots than the one they picked.

Check out the cover preview  below:

The issue goes on sale December 8th along with Chris’s new CD “Graffiti”, be sure to get yours.

Lady Gaga Covers US ELLE Magazine’s January Issue

Lady Gaga is featured on the cover and in a fashion spread for Elle US in January. In a very “normal” shoot its great to see that Ms.G can pull off something not so extrovert and in your face, she look’s regular here and still manages to look great. I  love the jacket in the first pic, designed by Maison Martin Margiela I’m not surprised its crazy but looks hot. Also I love the second pic with b*tchy black shades and the white plastic top by Karl Lagerfeld. Hauteness.

Pretty Ricky: Pretty Ricky – My Album Review

Pretty Ricky’s fourth album is self titled “Pretty Ricky” not to say that it means they have matured much as artists however, if anything they have matured the sexual content but nothing else. Saying that it doesn’t mean I dont like there work, if anything this album stand’s up there with the first and second LPs which were pretty good quality.

Listening to the tracks, I get a vibe reminiscent to R.Kelly and the sound he was producing around 93′ but these cuts have been modernised to appeal to today’s audience, clearly these guys are trying to be the new Jodeci but something is not quite right either lyrically or looks wise. Saying that I really think people should give them a chance, with the correct team, promotion and careful advice on lyrical content, we could see another smash ala “Grind On Me” or “On The Hotline” people seem to forget how big the summer hits were.

 Track List

1. Intro
2. Say a Command

3. Mr. Goodbar
4. Tipsy In Dis Club

5. Smash
6. Menage A Trois
7. Sticky
8. T.R.U.T.H.
9. Doggystyle
10. Lapdance
11. Black

Marloes Horst For Black Magazine #11 By Paul Empson

This is a editorial for Black Magazine shot by Paul Empson it stars Marloes Horst who looks completely stunning, I love the shoot it’s edgy, fierce as hell, b*tchy, and super fresh, the perfect ideals we need to look forward to in the new year. Featuring designs by Chanel, Christian Dior and Azzedine Alaïa, the clothes are amazing, each piece is wardrobe worthy while seasonless so can be mixed and matched to work with whatever all year round. Another Great shoot.
