INDIVI DUALS Vogue Italy 7

I’ve got a thing for black and white photography lately so I’m loving this shoot not just for the colour but the styling is really fierce and sharp, personally I think its perfect for upcoming winter, chic & sexy. That first dress kills, while the heels in the last shot do the same. This shoot appears in Vogue Italia for this months issue; dubbed “Individuals” it features Jamie Bochert, Daphne Guinness and Agyness Deyn.

Salieu Jalloh For Sports & Street Magazine – 2010

Loving this shoot featuring top male black model Salieu Jalloh, again styling is really fashion forward, I love the way the colours and textures are working against each other to  work with each other, Fabness. The last shot is really refreshing I may try something similar.

Victoria Beckham Glamour US March 7

Victoria Beckham Glamour US March 8

Love love love this shoot featuring Victoria Beckham for Glamour USA’s March 2010 issue. Looking extremely cute I must say it’s quite refreshing to see Victoria do something less high fashion and more down to earth, the styling is very chic and totally fits her personality which keeps this shoot true to Glamour’s identity. To add, that shot with Victoria scrubbing the floor slays!! I love that they gave her some extensions , its been a while since we’ve seen her with longer hair so I think it adds some youth back into her look. Great shoot.

Bregje Heinen For Elle Netherlands – March Issue 2010

Bregje Heinen Elle Netherlands 2

Complete and utter slayage, I’m loving the ‘Cover Black’ version but the ‘Cover White’ is so innocent I can’t deny it. These two are for Elle Netherlands March issue dubbed ”Modelbÿbel” (Model Bible) and feature model top model Bregje Heinen. The styling and the hair in the first shot kills. Loves it

Lindsay Ellingson For Vogue Mexico February 2010

Lindsay Ellingson Vogue Mexico February 5

Lindsay Ellingson Vogue Mexico February 7

These photos are from a fashion spread in this month’s Mexican Vogue, I’m loving the styling particularly in the second picture the whole vibe is just crazy I love it. Also something funny which I thought I would mention, Lindsay E looks exactly like Lindsay Lohan in the last shot. I’m so sure I’ve seen Ms Lohan do the same pose on something, either a cd cover or a magazine shoot (I will find it now lol), Anyway just thought I’d mention it considering they have the same name.

Hi Hater: Yes you sitting there like a b*tch

Hey everyone, hows it all going?

Well let’s give you a quick run down, I did have a more positive message planned for my return except I returned to two spiteful comments in my spam box. So the first one was a reader hater telling me I was walking to the Metro in Paris with my suitcase on a trip, when I heard Alexander McQueen died. <<< Why they felt the need to tell me that who knows cause it’s more or less exactly what I wrote in my post but I’m pretty sure they meant it in rude way; oh yeah I forgot to add the (!!!!!!!) they put at the end of the comment.

The second which I’m sure is from the same person basically said, Wait Let me copy and paste for you:

“your blog is shit and you’re a pretentious twat,

in your biography it says you pay attention to detail,
there are at least 5 spelling mistakes dumbass”

So off the bat, considering these were both written within 2-3 hours of each other I’m sure it’s the same person and I’ve pretty much narrowed it down to who it is. You see I’m smart, and by the language used versus the hater telling me where I was when I heard about Alexander McQueen’s death knocked the list down to 3 people who knew that I found out. The person that told me, and the two people that I told. Now out of those three two have access to my blog and I know what language style each person uses, so yes b*tch I know who you are. As for you telling me about spelling mistakes I proofread aswell as WordPress all my posts before publishing and if there is a mistake so be it nobodys perfect, I do this all on my own, no help. To add there are no spelling mistakes in my bio so I suggest you check your “English”.

But you know what I couldn’t really care less. I don’t know why I wrote this post but I think it’s so I don’t have to write it again.

If you don’t like my blog don’t come here, if you think I’m pretentious that’s your business, I do me you do you that’s if there is a you hiding behind that anonymous email. So there you have it, the thing you didn’t realise before but I’m sure you do now,  your attempt at trying to put me down was an EPIC FAIL!

Bye Hater.

A Big Thank You to: NOKIA Music

I would just like to say a huge thank you to Nokia and their music dept who sent me this brand new X6 music phone as a gift, it has practically every feature you could possibly want right now plus it comes with 1 year of FREE UNLIMITED Music downloads from the Nokia Music Store  (looks like I wont be buying any CD’s this year).

What makes this even more special is that this phone came just in time as I dropped my other Nokia phone in water on my way back from Paris yesterday, talk about God working in mysterious ways!

R.I.P To A Fashion Legend: Alexander Mcqueen

Wow.

So shocking so sad another fashion legend has left us; I’m going to tell you all I was in the middle of Paris walking when I received the news that Lee (Alexander McQueen) had passed, completely shocked as I was I’m upset that I didn’t appreciate his work until his last collection. It wasnt that I disliked his work before but I hadn’t looked much into it, I’m just sad now that his last collection will be his “technical” last. One thing I can say at least he went out with a bang, in true fashion style 8 and up. ”Break your ankles B*tches”

R.I.P  -  Gone but will never forgotten

Rihanna: Rudeboy – Official Music Video Premiere

This is why Rihanna kills it time and time again, creativity, creativity, creativity, this video is hot, sexy, trend resistant, ugh I could go on forever I’m loving it. With clear influences from Salt n Pepa and various other 90s groups, this video is flawless I could watch it for ages and not get bored. I love the styling, the colours, the hair. I loved the song from day 1 so I’m glad it’s been given the single treatment, thumbs up Riri. This sh*ts on you know who  BIG TIME, SLAYAGE!!

LOVE Magazine Issue 3 – Various Covers by Mert & Marcus

Love magazine has done it again this time for their third issue; deciding to go for 8 barely censored covers  they feature top models Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Natalia Vodianova, Amber Valletta, Daria Werbowy, Lara Stone, Kristen McMenamy and Jeneil Williams. My favorite covers would have to be Jeneil’s, Amber’s and Kristen’s, I love the presence of strength which comes through the photo. LOVE

Hermès – Spring Ad Campaign 2010

Love these shots from the Hermès spring campaign, very refreshing and enlightening to look at; featuring Karlie Kloss she executed this theme perfectly completing the dreamy effect which was created by the surroundings on the shoot. Also I love that we gradually seeing 2011′s trends surfacing, the movement of colours and prints which derive from West are now retrieving and doing the opposite taking colours, patterns, and material textures which derive from the east in countries like India and so forth.

Lindsay Ellingson Covers Vogue México – February Issue 2010

Love the look of this cover for Vogue Mexico’s February issue. The big hair, the light colours, the doey eyes, it seems very relaxed and easy on the eye. I love the dress too, the colour is dreamy but also in tune with today’s spring trends, now all I want is to see is the fashion spread so I know whether they continued this fluidity.

Sasha Pivovarova for Interview Magazine – February Issue 2010

Ok so I don’t know why but when I first saw this I thought of Louis Vuitton *scratches head*;  I think all the colours reminded me of the coloured monogram canvas they did a few years ago, anyway back to the point I’m loving this shoot, it screams rebellion, liberation and freedom. The whole jotter style doodling had me looking at the images for ages trying to make out each doodle. My personal favorite has to be the last shot, total bad girl plus I’m loving those pants. These shots appear in the latest issue of Interview magazine and feature model Sasha Pivovarova.

Frida Gustavsson for Numéro #110 by Miguel Reveriego

Loving this shoot by Numéro magazine for their 110th issue, the styling is hot, the photography is steamy, the lighting, the poses, I love it. Favorite shot would have to be the first, I love the whole big hair pouted mouth look, I feel like I stepped back into the 90s with this one.
